I thought you might enjoy a cross stitch project you can easily begin on without having to go to the store for lots of DMC colors. This freebie pattern uses only 1-2 colors (depending on whether or not you choose to stitch the background).
I’ve also included some samples of what it will look like with different color combos. You can use any colors you’d like!
