These were so much fun to make. I love this style so much, personally, and I was delighted when someone suggested a tutorial for Christmas cards.

Hope you’ll celebrate the joys of the season with me today on YouTube, no matter the date! Happy crafting! xoxo

Fabric Blocks – the Wave of the Future!

Fun with fabric blocks

Cross-stitching, embroidering, quilting – all great, wonderful craft options. They are very time consuming, however, and I always have a dozen or so cross-stitch patterns in my hopper. Sometimes, I want to make a quick little something, either for my wall or to make as a gift. Enter, the fabric block.

If you haven’t worked with fabric blocks before, you are in for a treat! They are SO versatile and easy to work with. I make my own here at Bella Stitchery, and have several here in my Etsy shop under the “Fabric Block” category. I can also custom print designs or images for you as well. Fabric blocks are great to frame and hang as-is, or you can personalize them with your own special embroidery and embellishment. The sky is the limit!
